Italian Parliament will elect the new president
Italian Parliament will vote the new president of the Republic. This election is very important because the president of the republic is in office for seven long years without interruption and is elected by the two houses of Parliament in joint session. Italian elections were held on February this year, and the country has been so far unable to form a government, which weights negatively on the EURO. A positive outcome can bring some relieve over the common currency, while a negative one will add to pessimism surrounding the EU these days.
